Welcome to My Adventures
My name is Edward, but I go by Ted. I am a 54-year-old white male living in middle Tennessee. I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme in October of 2022 and was told I had six to twelve months to live based on the average lifespan of those diagnosed with the disease. I am still here! I have decided to share my brain tumor survivor experience online. I hope it will be helpful to others who have been diagnosed with GBM.
Challenge Yourself To Live Well!
I have Li Fraumeni Syndrome! In addition to GBM, I suffered Pancreatitis and had surgery that revealed Pancreatic cancer in 2024. In February of 2026 I had six basal cell carcinomas removed (one was inside my ear canal...totally weird.) I believe medical marijuana is keeping my GBM in remission. I believe staying active is important if only to be in good health if you need to go back to the hospital. There is no "cancer diet" with real measured results. I am eating a mixed Mediterranean, and AICR New American Plate. Follow me on Facebook! I also have a YouTube page and will be trying out an Instagram account soon.
